The GS is a collaborative community of scientists from all over the world. The success of our programs depends on the involvement of dedicated members. Here are some of the ways you can contribute.
Volunteer
Apply to be a mentor in the GS Virtual Mentoring Program.
Serve as a conference mentor or student helper at the annual Goldschmidt Conference.
Volunteers are also needed to serve on the society's boards and committees. If you would like to serve, please complete the volunteer interest form.
Nominate
Submit an outstanding scientist for recognition through the society's awards program.
Contribute
Share news items of interest to the geochemical community in Geochemical News. Contact the editors with your news. You can also share information about your conference or workshop on our conference calendar.
Invite
Do you have a colleague or student who is not currently a member? Encourage them to join our international community of nearly 4,000 scientists! Students from countries that are under-represented in the GS can even join for free.
